Civil Engineering
Civil Engineers are involved in the design, construction, and management of all transport systems, gas and water supply, sewage systems, dams, harbours, airports, railways, and buildings. They are also involved in the assessment of environmental impacts, pollution control, collection and treatment of industrial wastes, and project management. The profession demands high safety and professional standards in many different areas such as Geotechnical, Water, Structural, Transportation and Environmental.
As UCS is basically a bridge for students to obtain their fully accredited engineering degrees and later on professional status, the Diploma in Civil Engineering program will train the students in the fundamental skills and theoretical knowledge of all branches in this highly regarded profession.
In addition, students will be given hands-on practical training such as site surveying, design, and project management, etc. With this, UCS graduates are more than capable to continue their studies at reputable international universities. |
